We covered the unveiling of a historic plaque in Ashby for legendary video game studio Rare Ltd, who are best known for classics like GoldenEye 007, Sea of Thieves, amongst many other classic titles. Now owned by Microsoft, Rare began its journey in Ashby and has played a major role in shaping the gaming industry. The plaque was unveiled by town mayor Damilola Ojuri, and our photography captured the key moments of this celebration of local and cultural heritage.
